ThepopedevotedthesecondweekofhisseriesofteachingsonthedocumentsoftheSecondVaticanCounciltoacloserexaminationofthedogmaticconstitution“DeiVerbum,”dedicatedtodivinerevelation.
Pointingtothedocument,hehighlightedlisteninganddialoguewithGodasfoundationsofaChristianlife.
“Fromthisperspective,thefirstattitudetocultivateislistening,sothatthedivineWordmaypenetrateourmindsandourhearts;atthesametime,wearerequiredtospeakwithGod,nottocommunicatetohimwhathealreadyknows,buttorevealourselvestoourselves,”Leosaid.
