InternationalCatholicnonprofitAidtotheChurchinNeed(ACN)willreleaseitsglobalreligiousfreedomreportinRomenextweekwithanOct.21conferencefeaturingtheVatican’ssecretaryofstateandvictimsofreligiouspersecution.
VaticanSecretaryofStateCardinalPietroParolinwillintroducethe“ReligiousFreedomintheWorldReport2025”withaspeechatthePontificalPatristicInstituteAugustinianumconferencecenterneartheVatican.
Thereport,releasedeverytwoyearssince1999,isaglobalstudyofreligiousfreedomandpersecutionacrossallcountriesandfaithgroups.
“SincethefirsteditionoftheRFR,thesituationhassteadilyworsened,andunfortunately,thisnegativetrendisexpectedtocontinue,”MartaPetrosillo,thereport’seditor-in-chief,saidinapressreleasepublishedaheadofthereport’slaunch.
