OnAug.3,PopeLeoXIVisscheduledtocelebrateMassforthe18thSundayinOrdinaryTimeatTorVergataUniversityinRomeaspartoftheJubileeofYouth.
AlthoughhewillbeintheVaticaninAugust,heisalsoscheduledtocelebrateMassatthepontificalparishofCastelGandolfoonFriday,Aug.15,thesolemnityoftheAssumptionoftheBlessedVirginMary,andtopraytheAngelusinthecity’sLibertySquare.
OnSunday,Sept.7,the23rdSundayinOrdinaryTime,hewillcelebratetheeagerlyawaitedMassforthecanonizationofBlessedsPierGiorgioFrassatiandCarloAcutis,whichwilltakeplaceinSt.Peter’sSquareat10a.m.localtime.
Aweeklater,onSunday,Sept.14,hewillparticipateintheecumenicalcommemorationofthenewmartyrs,witnessestothefaith,inSt.PaulOutsidetheWalls
