ThepresidentofPeru,DinaBoluarte,andtheministerofforeigntradeandtourism,DesilúLeón,haveofficiallylaunchedanewtourismrouteinthecountry.
Theroute,knownas“PathsofPopeLeoXIV,”seekstohighlighttheplaceswheretheHolyFather—formerlyknownasBishopRobertPrevost—exercisedhisfruitfulpastoralministryintheAndeannation.
Theroutecoversfourofthecountry’sregions:Lambayeque,Piura,LaLibertad,andCallao,keylocationsintheministryofthemanwhoisnowPopeLeoXIV,thefirstPeruviancitizentobecomepope.
