AnecumenicalPalestinianChristianorganizationdoubleddownoncriticismoftheUnitedStatesConferenceofCatholicBishops(USCCB)thisweek,accusingthebodyofdismissingconcernsofPalestinianChristiansandportrayingoppositiontotheIsraeligovernmentasantisemitic.
Theorganization,KairosPalestine,isledbyCatholicPatriarchEmeritusMichelSabbahandiscomposedofCatholic,Orthodox,andProtestantChristianPalestinians.Thegroupsupports“nonviolentresistance”toIsraelipoliciesintheGazaStripandtheWestBank,whichincludesboycotts,divestment,andsanctionsagainstIsrael.
